The President's roles include:
- Head of State: ceremonial leader
- Chief Executive: directs the government
- Chief Legislator: proposes bills to Congress, attempts to influence Congress
- Economic Planner: prepares a federal budget proposal every year
- Party Planner: most important person in his political party
- Chief Diplomat: able to make decisive decisions
- Commander-in-Chief: power to send troops, dictates military strategies and operations
- Veto legislation passed by Congress
- Command the armed forces
- Pardon convicted criminals
- Negotiate treaties
- Nominate Supreme Court justices, other federal judges, ambassadors, and other councilors.

Presidents Cabinet:
Requirements for Office:
The Candidate must be a natural born citizen, at least 35 years old, and a resident of the United States for at least 14 years.
Presidential Succession:
In case of death or disability the following can replace the President:
- Vice President
- President Pro Tempore of the Senate
- Secretary of State
- Secretary of Treasury
- Secretary of Defense
- Attorney General
